Code of Conduct

1. Basic Policy

Akiba Executable Party (the "Event") aims to create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can participate and enjoy themselves with peace of mind. We value an environment where everyone is respected, regardless of age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical characteristics, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, social or economic status, and more.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in the Event.

2. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all of the following situations:

  • Inside and around the Event venue
  • Official event-related online communication

3. Expected Behavior

  • Be considerate and respectful toward other participants.
  • Respect diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • If you see someone in trouble, please offer help where possible or let the organizers know.

4. Prohibited Behavior

The following behavior is not tolerated in any form:

  • Discriminatory speech or harassment based on the attributes listed above
  • Sexual remarks, unwanted physical contact, or stalking
  • Violence, intimidation, threats, or bullying
  • Taking photos or recordings of someone against their wishes, or sharing them
  • Deliberately disrupting screenings, proceedings, or other attendees' viewing experience
  • Illegal activity, or violation of the venue's rules

These are examples; even behavior not listed here may be prohibited if it harms others or threatens their safety.

5. Response to Violations

If the organizers determine that this Code of Conduct has been violated, they may take actions such as the following, depending on the situation. Action may be taken without prior warning.

  • A warning requesting that the behavior stop
  • A request to leave the venue
  • A ban from future events
  • Reporting to the police or other relevant authorities as necessary

The organizers make the final decision on any response, and participants are expected to comply.

6. How to Report or Ask for Help

If you experience or witness a violation, please don't hesitate to contact the organizers directly or through the following channels, no matter how small the concern may seem.

Anything you report will not be shared beyond what is necessary to address it. Your privacy and safety are our top priority.

By participating in the Event, you are considered to have agreed to this Code of Conduct.
